ADDRESS Interview with Linda Fahey.

Define your craft in 3 sentences or less. The work is what I call modern classic. It’s work that can fold in to a modern setting as well as a more casual contemporary. Small batch, hand constructed porcelain.

Describe your creative process. I am a fully hands on maker, I develop shapes and forms through continued exploration of my basic forms.

Where do you find inspiration when experiencing a creative block? I usually try a completely different medium, something away from my day to day practice and something that challenges me.

What advice would you give to young designers / makers / artists / creatives aspiring to make it in their field? That a real purity in pursuit of passion is key.

What’s your dream project? Working direct with designers on larger scale projects that are site specific – and lighting!
