ADDRESS Interview with THRIVE Art Studio.

Define your craft in 3 sentences or less. Being an artist is important but often lonely work and our mission at THRIVE is to support female, gender queer and non binary artists. We do this through THRIVE Mastermind our community of visual artists who meet monthly and provide each other with support, accountability and motivation and THRIVE Talks our Podcast and our speaker series where contemporary female artists and women in the arts tell their inspiring stories. We also offer THRIVE Art School the education you needed but never got in art school.

Where do you find inspiration when experiencing a creative block? It really helps to be able to talk to other artists who have been through it before! Knowing that you aren’t alone really helps as does focusing on other things that interest you for a while and focusing on self care.

What advice would you give to young designers / makers / artists / creatives aspiring to make it in their field? Our motto at THRIVE is to “Do The Work” as it is the only way to get you where you are going. We also believe that community is essential in providing the support needed to make it in your field. It also makes the journey way more enjoyable!

What’s your dream project? This project with ADDRESS is pretty dreamy! We love projects, collaborations, and partnerships that provide opportunities for our membership of visual artists.
